Traffic handled very smoothly
the last time i was there the security lady in the ssa was very rude and asked my bf and i to find a spot to sit and it was packed so where were we suppose to sit on the floor like wtf
If I didn't have to give stars I wouldn't. This place deserve no stars. This place is horrible, they are rude , very incompetent, and Lazy. I have dealt with these people for a very long time and I have yet to have someone who does there job well. No one want to help you and they just don't care. At one point they told me why am I working and this will be an easier process if I didn't work. When I call to see about my pay stub to see if they received it, every person has no idea what I am talking about. I am so tired of this place, if my daughter did not need the medication to live I would never go there ever again. I even try to go to a different location to see if they will help my daughter and I and know one will help us.
On 7/25/17 I was at window #3 for moral support for my cousin from Brooklyn, I have helped her with her finances for the last 12 years and she applied for Social Security benefits from the Schenectady office and has never used any other office. We needed to change the bank where her check was being sent. We were unable to do it on line and had to ask for help for that issue. The woman behind window #3 was rude to my cousin and told her she needed to do her Social Security business at home in Brooklyn. She told her NOT to come here again. To be fair, she did make the bank change for her. She also gave her a referral to the next level to deal with the issue of getting an account to get on line. The gal at the desk behind the door was wonderful. We explained why we couldn't get an account and she immediately remedied the situation. We left the office feeling warm and fuzzy. So we give 5 stars to " the desk behind the door". But the "front line window" is a disturbing 2 stars. Unfortunately many people do not get beyond the glass window.
Was told to fax stuff immeidiately so my sons benefits wouldn't be delayed so we did immediately its been over a week, has not returned any of my phone calls and the operator I speak to each time I call so always so rude! I hate going to that office and wish I didn't have to!!!!!!
