I had a Priorty Package that was supposed to be delivered today (I had been tracking it). It showed that it left the Albany Facility at 4:30am. My mailman came & went & NO PACKAGE!!
As another user stated.. the staff in the actual post office are mostly friendly. The carriers are another issue. They won't deliver packages but claim they "attempted" even though you're always home and never had a knock on the door. And trying to track your packages are impossible to actually contact a human to speak to. The only luck I ever have is showing up and it's the manager who's nice.
Usually decent service. The line can be long sometimes and the wait can drag. Try to go during off peak hours as much as possible (not right after work)
While it's not the first time & more than likely, won't be the last time... I just have to say that the people working the back area of the post office have got to be the laziest people EVER!!!
The people who work here are friendly and helpful, the carrier on the other hand is the absolute worst!!! They leave packages when directed not to, they NEVER leave a tracking slip and they NEVER EVER knock or ring my doorbell. I've missed many many packages when I was home to receive them. Complaining never helps.
As I said, this is ALWAYS an issue every time! We NEVER receive our packages on time!!!
Went to the post office before 5pm to see if I can at least pick up my package & I was told that I couldn't because it had NOT been scanned in into their system!!!
I NEVER receive my packages! I try to get UPS because they are reliable. It depends where you are ordering from. Amazon USPS. Horror stories! Some sellers will honor and send another package. Other sellers will NOT due to the post office scan saying they delivered it! WRONG. I was home ALL day, it wasn't delivered and I had to pay for my item again! Really? The post master General needs to oversee this complete and utter MESS!
What the hell have they been doing all day in the back that my package was NOT scanned in since it OBVIOUSLY didn't make it to my house today?!?!
