On a whim my husband purchased me a hamster from here nine months ago as a gift. I should really say its more my fault because we went in for cat food and when I saw them the hamster we got seemed super stressed and I had to take them home. I had asked several questions including sex and age and was told they didn't know. I was also given advice on bedding, food, and other things that after coming home and doing better research we found to be extremely inaccurate. Atleast other local petstores will tell you they require a wheel and otger things but gere they never mentioned it.

I've been going to pet stores my whole life and I've seen animals in this store that I've never seen in person before or never even heard of. Their exotic pet supplies blow PetSmart out of the water in both range of products and prices. Staff has been helpful every time I've been in, very glad this is my nearest pet store!

It also seems as those they do not sex their hamsters very well and are backyard breeding. My hamster ended up giving birth to a liter of five pups after we had her for a week. They also had her in a very small tank with another new mom with a liter of brand new pups and this is extremely unethical. In retrospect I should have known what would happen but now I'm just happy I am able to give her a loving home with proper care and was able to save her pups from going through that.
Love this place. People here are amazing
The only reason I gave this place two stars is because they have a decent selection of cat and dog food as well as toys and treats at fair prices. Although, I don't think I could bring myself to ever give then my money again.
