I couldn't recommend this place any higher.
The owner and his wife are great! my husband and i have purchased two different vehicles from Horning auto in the past 4 years. both had some issues, as do most USED vehicles, and they were willing to TRY to fix the problems. I had to bring both vehicles back a few times for the same issue that they said they had initially fixed, but it wasnt. they were willing to work with us on the purchase price of both vehicles when talking about buying and also were very courteous. i will most likely look in their direction the next time i think of purchasing a different vehicle.
Obviously the cars great too because I drove it home 13 hours straight with no issues.
So my wife has recently gotten a Kizashi and loved it to death. However it go totaled. So the great search for a another one happened. It lead me to Horning auto sales. Now normally I wouldn't shop for cars 13 hours away from my house but, this was the one she wanted.
David and Ann worked with me for around 3 weeks with emails and phone calls only. We worked out the whole buying process without me ever even going to New York. To say that their service is fantastic would be an understatement. David totally got how to handle an out of state costumer. Ann figured out everything I need for NC to get the title switched over. The whole buying process was so simple. They even picked me up from the airport and drove me to their place. David made sure I was 100% satisfied with the car too. It had brand new brakes, tires, rotors and, an oil change. A ton of places say they do that but, David had the actual receipts to prove it plus it looked like they were new.
A fantastic experience
Excellent buying experience here. Ann and her husband David were very friendly people, absolutely wonderful with my children as well! Even with my complicated situation Ann worked her best magic to get me the vehicle I wanted and I have no complaints about this dealership. I would absolutely buy another car from them, I may even go back just for a visit!!
They were fast to respond to all of my questions. When the car I wanted was taken they didn't try to push another car on me. The sale was pending for the car I wanted and they kept me posted on the status of that sale. Even though I did not purchase a car from them, I commend them on their communication to me. I would recommend them to everyone I know. Horning Auto Sales = Class Act!
Very nice people but the first time I filled my tank it started leaking at the seam. They put a new tank on but now six months later the baffles broke off and created four cracks on the bottom of the tank. They said no warranties. So now I'm on my third gas tank this year. Also by the time summer hit the A/C stopped working. When I replaced the hose I found a crude patch job. If you choose to by from them check it over very carefully cause they aren't going to.
